Bahama Acres Limited, the developer of Bahama Sound, is a Bahamian corporation formed in 1960 by Frank N. Magnuson and his brother-in-law John H. Moynahan to develop homesites in The Bahamas, and offer them for sale on an installment payment basis to customers world-wide.   Beginning in 1937, and now directed by John H. "Jay" Moynahan Jr., the company and affiliated other companies have developed and sold almost 40,000 residential lots in Florida, Colorado and The Bahamas.
